Why must we use washing powder detergent to wash our Because soap helps remove oil and dirt from fabric by lowering the surface tension between the liquid (water) and the solid (our clothes) Or would you think it would be hygienic to wash your hands with water only? Can front loader washing powder be used in a top loader I would think so yes I found out last night that my MIL and husband put fabric softener with the washing powder in the beggining of the wash instead of during final rinse
